Join this amazing 12-day trip to see Morocco's most famous places. We start in Tangier, then visit the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. Next, we explore the old royal cities of Fez and Meknes with their historic palaces and markets.
We drive through Ifrane (called "Morocco's Switzerland") before reaching the Sahara Desert at Merzouga. Here you'll ride camels at sunset and sleep in a desert camp under the stars.
See the high cliffs of Todra Gorge, the green Ziz Valley, and the famous movie town Ouarzazate. We visit the ancient Ait Ben Haddou village and cross the Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech with its busy markets and quiet gardens. The tour ends in Casablanca where you'll see the huge Hassan II Mosque by the ocean.

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – City Tour
Welcome to Morocco! Your adventure begins in Tangier, the gateway between Europe and Africa. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, embark on a fascinating guided city tour that highlights Tangier’s mix of cultures and history.
Start at Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. Then, explore the legendary Hercules Caves, an ancient site steeped in myth and offering fantastic sea views. Continue with a visit to the Kasbah, perched above the old city and offering panoramic views of the Strait of Gibraltar. Finally, dive into the lively Medina, where you’ll stroll through colorful souks, local shops, and charming alleyways.

Day 2: Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, depart for Tetouan, a charming Andalusian town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore the city’s UNESCO-listed Medina, a beautifully preserved maze of whitewashed buildings and artisan workshops.
Continue to the famous Chefchaouen, the "Blue Pearl" of Morocco. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxed walking tour through its enchanting blue-painted streets, visit the Ras El Maa waterfall, and admire views of the mountains as you discover this photogenic city.

Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
After a morning stroll or breakfast overlooking the hills, depart for the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a stunning archaeological site with mosaics, columns, and panoramic countryside views.
Next, head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Visit Bab Mansour, one of the most impressive gates in North Africa, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, a grand resting place of the powerful sultan.
In the late afternoon, continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco.

Day 4: Full Day Exploring Fes
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. Start with the Fes el-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 9,000 alleys.
Highlights include:
Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest functioning university in the world.
The vibrant Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed in traditional stone vats.
The beautifully detailed Bou Inania Madrasa.
After the tour, enjoy free time for shopping in the artisan souks or relaxing at a rooftop café.

Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt
Leave the city behind and head toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. First stop is Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and clean, cool air.
Continue to Azrou, where you can stroll through the cedar forests and spot the famous Barbary macaques (wild monkeys).
Arrive in Midelt, a tranquil mountain town known for its apple orchards and its role as a resting point between north and south Morocco.

Day 6: Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
Today’s drive offers incredible views as you pass through the Ziz Valley, a lush green oasis framed by desert cliffs and traditional Berber villages.
By afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. After a short rest, embark on a camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, witnessing a magical desert sunset.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a Berber dinner, traditional music by the campfire, and a night under the starry sky.

Day 7: Full Day in Merzouga Desert
Wake early to catch a sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the surrounding desert:
Visit Khamlia village, home to Gnawa musicians of Sub-Saharan origin.
Discover oasis palm groves and ancient fossil beds in the surrounding desert.
Try sandboarding or ride an ATV across the dunes (optional).
You can choose to spend a second night in the desert camp or stay in a comfortable desert kasbah-style hotel nearby.

Day 8: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Depart the desert and travel west toward the Todra Gorges, an incredible canyon carved by the Todra River. Walk between its towering cliffs, a favorite among rock climbers and nature lovers.
Continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, such as the “Monkey Fingers” cliffs and winding mountain roads.

Day 9: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Begin the day with a scenic drive to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the Atlas Film Studios, where movies like Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed.
Next, explore the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and traditional mudbrick ksar that appears in numerous films and series (Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia).
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in North Africa, and arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 10: Full Day in Marrakech
Start your Marrakech discovery with a visit to its most iconic landmarks:
Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, alive with storytellers, food stalls, and musicians.
The elegant Bahia Palace and nearby Koutoubia Mosque.
The colorful and serene Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent.
Enjoy free time in the afternoon for shopping or relaxation. In the evening, consider joining an optional street food tour or dine in a traditional riad.

Day 11: Marrakech → Casablanca
After breakfast, travel to Casablanca, Morocco’s modern and cosmopolitan city.
Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa, dramatically built over the ocean. Then, stroll along the Corniche, Casablanca’s beachfront promenade filled with cafes and restaurants.

Day 12: Departure from Casablanca
