6 Day Tour from Agadir to Marrakech via the Sahara
Staying on the coast in Agadir or Taghazout? You don't need to go back to Marrakech to see the Sahara. This private six-day route heads inland through the walled city of Taroudant and the saffron fields of Taliouine to the kasbahs, gorges and high dunes of the south, then finishes over the High Atlas in Marrakech.

Day by Day
Day 1: Agadir → Taroudant → Taliouine
Pick-up at your hotel. Morning in Taroudant inside its 7 km of earthen walls, then east through argan country to Taliouine for a saffron tasting and a night in a kasbah guesthouse.
Day 2: Taliouine → Ouarzazate → Skoura → Dades
Cross the Anti-Atlas plateau to Ouarzazate, continue past the Skoura oasis and the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley.
Day 3: Dades → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
Walk through Todra Gorge, then reach Merzouga for a camel ride into the dunes, dinner and a night in a desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga → Alnif → Nkob
Sunrise in the Sahara, then west across the volcanic landscapes of Jbel Saghro to the kasbahs of Nkob for the night.
Day 5: Nkob → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou
Follow the Draa Valley's palm groves and the Tizi n'Tinifift pass to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou for sunset.
Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Morning visit of the ksar, then over the High Atlas to Marrakech.
